​Previous Missions

Team Resolute deployed to Kenya from 28 May - 7 June 2018 to continue our support of the Mara Loita Community Rangers.

Objectives:
  • ​Accompany the Rangers on foot patrols into the Mara Loita Forest to further assess operational challenges, tactical limitations, and resourcing needs.
  • Provide advice and assistance to the Rangers in planning and operations.

The Team:
  • Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Eric Fies, FRGS - Team Leader
  • Tyson Anderson - Operational Advisor and Former Army Linguist​

Our inaugural expedition!

Mission:   Team Resolute deployed in October 2017 to interface with and provide support to the Mara Loita Community Rangers conducting anti-poaching operations in Kenya.

Objectives:
  • Interact with African Wildlife Rangers to gain a better understanding of operational challenges, tactical limitations, and resourcing needs.
  • Assess, advise, and assist anti-poaching units in order to enhance capabilities and effectiveness in the field.

The Team:

  • Craig Connor - Deputy Expedition Leader and Combat-wounded Special Forces Weapons Sergeant Veteran
  • Bryan Vandesande - Expedition Medic and Combat-wounded Navy Corpsman Veteran
  • Aaron Vanderbeck - Combat-wounded Marine Corps Special Operations Veteran
  • Amber Fies - Expedition Photographer
  • Allan Smith - Expedition Documentarian
